Mind-set… the necessary evil
Mind-set is often seen as fluffy and unimportant. Most entrepreneurs say that they are too busy to focus on mind-set, but these are also the same entrepreneurs that are not able to fight through the tough times. Combined, Dave and I have coached hundreds of students in business and property investing and the one thing is clear, the ones with the best mind-set far outshine those with a poor mind-set. How can we be so sure of this?
In order to coach these people while maintaining our own businesses, we’ve had to put systems in place. We’ve structured our coaching to be the same for every student and automated as much as possible. We know that every single student gets the same care, time and attention when discussing things like running the numbers, structuring deals and attracting investors… and eventually, every student understands the concepts. But yet, not every student is successful, why? It’s not because of our ability as coaches. It’s not because we prioritise certain students over others. It’s not because of any logical reason other than the fact that the failed students gave up.
Let me tell you something you already know… it’s HARD.
Yes ladies and gentlemen, I hope I’m not the first person to say this, but entrepreneurship is a difficult journey. It challenges you from an emotional, physical and spiritual point of view. If you don’t have the right emotional and mental stability, you are not going to be successful. And that’s why this section is so important. Having the right mind-set (i.e. beliefs and attitudes) are the only thing that are going to keep you moving forward when everything around you is falling to pieces and daring you to give up.
As you can see, Andy Fuehl mentions you need the right mind-set, discover your purpose and then find a business that expresses that purposes. It’s about starting with the right mind-set and that’s why it’s the first part of our course. In order to be successful in anything in life you need the right attitude and beliefs about yourself, your ability and your timing, that will give you the confidence to fight through the inevitable trials and tribulations that each and every entrepreneur faces.
I know I’m harping on this point, but I’ve seen it with my own eyes. To be successful in reality, you first have to be successful in your mind. It’s about your mind-set and we’re going to teach you the steps to get a winning mind-set.
